A "green" vision catalyst advocating Urban Agriculture and Community Sustainability
A weekly summer gathering of hands, smiles and mosquito spray kicked off on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the St. Charles Street Urban Community Garden – located at 3616 St. Charles Street, Houston, TX 77004! We’ll be welcoming visitors, volunteers and advocates every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the next 4 weeks to come out and join us for various “urban garden life” activities (garden clean-up, planting, harvesting, construction and maintenance). Gain first-hand exposure to the demands of keeping up a community garden in a food desert neighbor! It’ll be fun, it always is — so come out and get your hands in the dirt!
